Mike studied at Portsmouth Polytechnic graduating with an honours degree in Applied Physics. He has spent over 30 years working on all types of UK commercial power reactors, culminating as the Station Health Physicist at the Sizewell B PWR for the past 12 years. His career in industry has provided detailed knowledge of many practical aspects of radiological protection, including dosimetry, radwaste management and the production and application of local rules. Consequently he has a wealth of experience in all matters that require a clear demonstration of compliance with statutory regulations. Mike holds a current RPA Certificate of Competence and is an Assessor for the principal RPA assessment body, namely RPA2000.

Chris COBB
